Strategic Planning in Health Care
November 5, 2018–January 25, 2019
Due to popular demand, SHSMD is excited to offer the Strategic Planning in Healthcare online course series again! The series received an outstanding overall evaluation rating of 4.87/5 (with 5 being extremely satisfied). Hear what past participants said about the series:
The content is easy to understand and follow and I like the use of real examples in addition, the acknowledgement that organizational culture has a lot to do with the process and success of strategic planning within a respective organization.
Instructors were fabulous and the course was well organized and easy to understand. I appreciate how it was structured and built from one module to the next.
This course was the best online course that I have taken from any of my healthcare associations. No other course that I have ever seen has broke down the strategic planning process as well as this one has done. I will be able to use elements and reference slides from this course for years to come.
The series will offer two core courses plus self-paced electives that allow you to customize the program based on your areas of interest. See below for more detail.
Course 1: Strategic Planning Process and Content
November 5–16, 2018
This course will cover four modules, with each module including a live, 60 minute webcast and associated discussions questions/assignments. Registrants must also pass a short exam at the end of the course as part of the credential requirements.
November 19, 2018–January 4, 2019
Registrants will have access to watch all electives, but must watch a minimum of four elective webcasts based on their interests, and complete/pass accompanying quiz. Participants have over two months to complete four elective modules.
Course 2: Successful Plan Execution
January 7–25, 2018
This course will cover four modules, with each module including a live, 60 minute webcast and associated discussions questions/assignments. Registrants must pass a short exam at the end of the course as part of the credential requirements.
