The hottest acronym in healthcare today is ACO. And while thousands of words have been written on “how to ACO,” focusing on everything from IT to business structure, regulatory issues to reimbursement, far less attention has been paid to the foundational steps—how to shift from the traditional hospital vs. physician culture to a truly collaborative team approach that must be the foundation for an ACO to succeed. Get a clear understanding of the barriers that exist, the pathways to finding solutions, and the reason senior marketing/communications executives have the ideal expertise and experience to lead the institutional effort to master the ABCs of ACOs.

You will learn to:

  • Make the case for creating the culture of collaboration that must be present for an ACO to succeed.
  • Use your marketing and communications expertise and experience to help your organization build bridges between hospital leadership and physicians and remove barriers to collaboration.
  • Create and execute a plan for long-term culture change to create a foundation for the ACO.
