How long is the course?
Courses are two weeks in length.
Where and when does the course take place?
Courses are available at any time during the two week period. Participants are given access to the course and easy-to-follow directions the week prior to the start date.
How many units is the course?
Courses have an introduction, four units, and a conclusion. The introduction and the first two units take place during the first week of the course. The last two units and the conclusion are covered during the last week of the course.
What tasks make up the course other than reading the content?
After each unit, participants are given discussion questions about the unit topic to exchange ideas and ask questions to each other and the facilitator. These responses are written submissions that all can read and respond to, allowing for interaction. Participants are required to post a minimum two well thought out discussion postings per unit.
What supplies and books are needed for the course?
A computer and high-speed internet are needed to participate in the courses. Course content and reading materials are available for downloaded through the online course.
How many hours will this course take to complete?
The amount of time spent in the course is up each participant. However, participants are required to post a minimum two well thought out discussion postings per unit. If a participant does not meet this requirement, a certificate of completion will not be sent.
Are continuing education units extended for the course?
A Certificate of Course Completion will be sent to participants who have met the course requirements. The organization to which you are applying for CEUs determines whether or not the credit is extended.
