From academic medical centers, to community hospitals, to regional health systems, Mr. Margolis has advised hospitals and health systems on branding strategies, image campaigns, product line advertising, physician referral planning, and internal communications.
Mr. Margolis is a frequent speaker at national and state conferences in areas such as branding, communicating quality, community benefit, and customer loyalty. Before joining SPM, he was a principal with a healthcare consulting firm and also an administrator with Lake Hospital System in the Cleveland area.
Dan Miers
Dan Miers is Vice President, Account Director with SPM Marketing & Communications. In his life before SPM, Mr. Miers spent seven years at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in business development overseeing product line strategic planning, leading new business development, executing improvements to existing programs, and guiding strategic product positioning for cardiovascular services. During the four years prior to joining SPM, Mr. Miers successfully launched a healthcare-related technology business.
At SPM, Dan Miers directs marketing communications strategy for variety of academic medical centers, regional health systems, community hospitals, and health-related businesses. His team delivers results through multi-channel marketing and advertising programs—ranging from traditional mass-media to targeted direct and new/interactive channels. Mr. Miers is a frequent lecturer on matters of healthcare branding and market positioning.
