SHSMD is authorized to award 1.5 hours of pre-approved Category II (non-ACHE) continuing education credit for each SHSMD U Webcast toward advancement or recertification in the American College of Healthcare Executives. Participants in SHSMD U Webcasts wishing to have the continuing education hours applied toward Category II credit should indicate their attendance when submitting application to the American College of Healthcare Executives for advancement or recertification.

    

SHSMD U Webcasts are designed for all levels of professionals in healthcare marketing, strategic planning, communications, and public relations. Participants hear the presenters by phone and simultaneously view the presentations online. Each webcast runs aproximately 75 minutes (60 minutes of presentation and 15 minutes of Q&A).
