Society involvement
SHSMD encourages all members to participate fully in SHSMD activities and governance. Opportunities include contributing to Spectrum, participating at round tables during the annual conference, and serving on SHSMD committees and task forces. Committees and task forces are formed in the fall and begin their work in January. Available for download, SHSMD has developed job description templates to assist members with the daunting task of developing new description review the sample job descriptions and select the ones that most closely resemble the job responsibilities and candidate qualifications you need for the position, then adapt these sample job descriptions to meet your needs.
