When H1N1 influenza came to southeastern Minnesota, the public information officers at three Rochester-based organizations joined together to share information and data to present consistent messages to local media outlets. Through electronic communication and in-person meetings, group members provided one another with the technical assistance and data required to deliver timely, accurate, and regular health and wellness information to regional residents.
