This session examines the importance of workplace culture in delivering an optimal patient experience. The content is a blend of information pulled from the best practices in the literature, financial data culled from leading research efforts, a case study from an actual hospital's experience and Ten Adams knowledge in this important area of employee performance. The case study probes deeply into the experience of a hospital needing a significant transformation effort in multiple areas of organization performance. Improving employee engagement was vital to establishing a new mindset in the organization. The session closes by providing practical and useful insights into what hospital leaders need to do to energize or transform workplace culture.
