Through a comprehensive assessment of 11 dimensions of your organization’s culture and a custom report based on your input, you’ll gain insight into your organization’s strengths and weaknesses as a potential physician partner.

Components
The Physician Strategies Evaluation Tool consists of:

  • A comprehensive online questionnaire

  • A downloadable workbook to help you coordinate your organization’s responses to the questionnaire

  • A customized scorecard that provides a high-level summary of your questionnaire responses, rating your organization’s readiness to pursue new physician partnerships and indicating steps for doing so

  • A bibliography of suggested readings

  • A benchmarking report based on data from participating organizations*

Gathering Information
The ideal person to lead the information-gathering process is a senior-level strategist who is familiar with the organization and has (or can gain) access to the data needed to complete the questionnaire. It is recommended that the project leader enlist the cooperation of colleagues and stakeholders in other areas of the organization, such as administration, medical affairs, and governance. The quality of the scorecard depends on the extent and diligence of the organization’s information-gathering efforts.

Interpreting the Findings
Your organization’s questionnaire responses and scorecard should be evaluated together so that senior executives have a common understanding of the organization’s current physician dynamics and its readiness to pursue new strategies with physician partners. From there, senior executives can develop action plans for implementing new strategies or for revising current strategies on the basis of the Physician Strategies Evaluation Tool findings. 

* The benchmarking report will be sent to those who complete the questionnaire pending a sufficient number of participating organizations.
