SHSMD Online Meet Up – MarCom DEI Survey Findings

Join your fellow SHSMD MarCom colleagues in an interactive discussion about your role and its relation to DEIB goal implementation. The session will begin with findings from a recent survey of SHSMD MarCom members regarding their DEI efforts fielded through SHSMD’s By the Numbers program. The majority of the hour will feature facilitated discussion, including some of the questions outlined below. Join us to learn from each other and advance your DEI progress!

- How are you contributing to the implementation of DEIB goals at your organization?
- Have you tried something different and how did it go? Any lessons learned?
- Do you feel your organization is maturing in their DEI journey and moving beyond programming?
- What new DEIB initiatives do you have planned for the next 6 - 12 months?
- Have you used or thought about using the free AHA Health Equity Roadmap to assess where your organization is and what priorities/goals you would set?
- If you could undertake one initiative not currently planned or underway what would that be?
- Has your organization developed unique departments or goals aligned to these initiatives?
