Connecticut Children's | New Health System Website

Organization: Connecticut Children’s
Details: Connecticut Children’s last updated their health system website in 2017. There were a number of pain points that needed to be addressed. The site had become very antiquated, the navigation was difficult, and users faced excessive load times as well as frequent down time. In addition, there were cumbersome manual processes to maintain the Find-A-Doctor section, a clear lack of flexibility and most importantly, the website was not mobile optimized. Market research into Connecticut Children’s brand shows a perception that we are primarily a hospital. This insight has armed us with the ongoing opportunity to position ourselves as a fully integrated health system as we continue to grow operationally and geographically across the state. With our value proposition of being Connecticut’s only health system 100% dedicated to kids and our Beyond Imagination campaign as fuel, we decided it was time to expand our horizons and seize the opportunity to embark on an entire website re-platform and redesign.
