Recognizes health care strategy professionals who over the past few years have demonstrated outstanding promise in their respective fields and who have made or are on their way to making significant contributions to their profession and the SHSMD membership. Nominations for the 2026 award are open until May 1.

What do the recipients get?

Engraved award.
Complimentary registration to the in-person SHSMD Connections Conference the year of the award.
Complimentary registration to one SHSMD Online Education Online Course in the 12 months following receipt of the award.
Recognition on the SHSMD website and various communication channels.
Ongoing acknowledgement on SHSMD website along with prior Rising Stars.
Opportunity to contribute their story to SHSMD via blog or other channel.
