The disruptive changes in healthcare require that hospital systems engage the full potential of physician leadership in the organization. A strong partnership between the hospital and the physicians will foster the best environment for physician recruitment. Medical staff articulation of the ideal candidates and the recruitment for those ideals should increase physician morale and overall retention for the organization. This session describes how hospital systems may create a successful recruitment program based on their values and ideal characteristics.
