The SHSMD Rising Star recognizes health care strategy professionals who, over the past few years, have demonstrated outstanding promise in their respective fields. This recognition shines a spotlight on SHSMD members who have made—or are on their way to making—significant contributions to their profession and the SHSMD membership.
Congratulations to the 2025 Class of Rising Stars! These individuals are distinguished by their accomplishments, leadership, and their trajectory for future success. They embody core values such as integrity, innovation, and a commitment to advancing health care strategy.

Khrista Boster | Lacey Reichwald | Nardeep Singh
Khrista Boster is the Chief Marketing Officer for Woodlawn Health in Rochester, IN. In her role, she oversees marketing, public relations, strategic initiatives, referral management, government relations, and community outreach. While at Woodlawn, she developed the organization’s first strategic marketing department and referral management program, Close the Gap.
Khrista serves on the Indiana Healthcare Marketing & Public Relations Society’s board and Educational Committee, as well as the SHSMD Executive Strategies Task Force. In her community, she serves on the boards of the Fulton County and Akron Chambers of Commerce. Khrista also co-facilitates a monthly rural healthcare marketing meet-up.
Before joining Woodlawn, she worked as an Admission and Marketing Director for post-acute facilities and at Project Mercy, where she was involved in healthcare initiatives in Ethiopia. Khrista holds a Master of Business Administration from Bluffton University. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Writing and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Communication from Taylor University in Fort Wayne, IN. She married her college sweetheart, Kyle, and they are the proud parents of one very energetic boy.

Lacey Reichwald is the Director of Marketing at Aha Media Group in Silver Spring, MD where she leads marketing strategy and execution. She’s passionate about “learning out loud” and believes in sharing knowledge without gatekeeping, making complex concepts accessible. She is a leading voice in healthcare marketing’s AI exploration, helping teams understand new technology with clarity and confidence. Lacey is also an active member of SHSMD and serves on the board and Conference Committee for MASHSMD.
Her marketing experience spans travel, app development, and real estate — plus growing the multi-location café she owned for 12 years. Healthcare’s purpose-driven mission ultimately drew her in. “We help people get answers at their scariest moments,” she says. “That’s the mission we all serve as healthcare marketers.”
Lacey lives in Wisconsin with her husband and daughter. Outside work, she’s likely hunting vintage Jell-O molds, catching live music, planning travel, or getting lost in historical fiction.

Nardeep Singh is the Manager of Marketing Technology at Renown Health in Reno, NV where she focuses on using AI, CRM, and automation to improve patient access and communication. She led Renown’s migration to a headless CMS, connected Epic online scheduling to Find-a-Doctor, and launched AI tools for translation and search.
Nardeep supports automated patient messaging through Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including appointment reminders and referrals. Her team works across marketing, IT, and clinical groups to deliver systems that are accurate and easy to use. She also led the buildout of provider data pipelines that sync across Epic, Med Staff, and CMS platforms—reducing manual work and improving profile quality across digital touchpoints.
She holds a master’s degree in information technology management. Outside of Renown, she creates content on healthcare AI that has reached over 400,000 people, helping peers apply AI in practical ways across digital healthcare.
