Leveraging Technology and Data Analytics in an Integrated System of Care
Brookwood Baptist Health’s patients bear the burden of rising out-of-pocket costs like never before. They expect to pay more upfront, and they demand better cost estimates for procedures and more flexible payment options. Focused on improving collections and capturing payments earlier in patient interactions, Brookwood needed to deliver the optimal patient service experience, as well as improve payment processing and collections, including technology and infrastructure, workflow and operations, and staff training and development. Brookwood successfully improved the patient experience by transforming Patient Access with strong governance and the right team to deliver technology, data analytics and information to drive action.
